Repair Perio & Implant(s)

Repair perio and implants usually refer to bone grafting and use of biologics and/or barrier membrane to help facilitate bone regeneration around tooth or implant with advanced periodontal disease or bone loss. During this procedure, Dr. Dong will clean the bony defect around affected tooth or teeth/implant (s) thoroughly and then place a collagen barrier between the soft tissue and pocket in the bone to allow bone to regrow and stabilize tooth/implants in the jaw bone.
